Rest is a blend that focuses on conditions in relationship to sleep and relaxation. Peel away the layers of tension by adjusting to a routine that allows for rest. When these essential oils are combined their benefits are powerfully integrated into the various systems of the body simultaneously.

Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) Valuable for the ability to the lift the spirit without over-stimulating. Providing help with cystitis, herpes, eating disorders, and depression. With a cooling effect for fevers. 

Cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana) Good for meditation. Strengthens the higher self connection. It is calming and soothing and has a tonic action on the glandular and nervous system. It assists in complaints of the urinary tract, kidneys, rheumatic and arthritic conditions, as well as, coughs that have excess amounts of phlegm. 

Orange (Citrus sinensis) Dispels states of gloom and brings radiance and positivity. Aids digestion, balancing effect on diarrhea and constipation, calming effect on stomach and nervous states. Helps with insomnia. Cooling to fevers.

Myrtle (Myrtus communis) Promotes restful sleep. Clears excessive moisture for respiratory, chronic coughs, and lung related problems. Has a sedative effect. Soothes and balances feelings of anger or internal conflict. Inhibits infections. Aids urinary tract, hemorrhoids, and diarrhea. Has aphrodisiac qualities as it associated with the Aphrodite the Greek Goddess of Love.  

Lavender (Lavandula spp.) Sedative, anxiolytic (used to reduce anxiety) and mood modulator. Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and insecticidal. Pain-relieving. Digestive aid, anti-depressant and aphrodisiac. Improves sleep patterns. Helps restlessness, insomnia, inflammation, and can have a stabilizing and calming effect on hyperactivity, anxiety, hysteria. Supports the respiratory, circulatory, and immune system.

Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) Grounding, spiritual, and supportive. Healthy circulation, hormones, and cell function. Optimal use in emotional stability.  

Roman Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) & Blue Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) Both of these oils are calming for tension, anxiety, and insomnia. Their anti-inflammatory constituents benefit conditions of digestion, pms, menopause, urinary tract, bladder, kidneys, and emotions that need soothing. 

How to use- Do a patch test to check for sensitivity when using essential oil blends on the skin.

1) State your intention- "I am relaxed, my body is healthy, I am whole."

2) Shake the bottle, open it, then gently tap the blend into the palm of your hand.

3) Rub your hands together and cup them over your nose and mouth for a few breaths. Breathe in the aroma. Expand every part of yourself with each inhalation.

4) Massaging the neck, hands, and feet are a wonderful starting place to transition into full relaxation. 

5) Suggested use in foot bath (3-4 drops) or bath (2-3 drops)

6) With a hot or cold compress use 4-6 drops, apply the compress to location avoiding open cuts, wounds, or mucous membranes.
